BuyCostumes.com has been chosen by Discovery Commerce, the direct-to-consumer, home video and licensing division of Discovery Communications, the number one-none fiction media company, to develop, market, and distribute a fun new line of kids’ costumes based on the Animal Planet brand and philosophy. The collaboration between BuyCostumes.com and Discovery Commerce began in 2007 and the company has been busy designing a new, elite quality line of children’s Halloween costumes due to hit shelves this fall.

BuyCostumes.com already has a reputation for selling “must- have” exclusive lines of costumes and the soon-to-be released Animal Planet costumes are expected to be some of the most sought after children’s costumes this Halloween. Obama will be the next President of the United States according to Mask Sales Poll

BuyCostumes.com, the world’s largest online retailer of Halloween costumes, accessories and party supplies has 100% successfully predicted the next President of the United States since 2000 based solely on the sales of candidates’ masks.

This year, The Company took our Mask Poll a step further and tracked mask sales during the primaries. The results showed McCain taking a significant lead for the Republicans early on; and similarly to polls nationwide, Obama and Clinton were neck-in-neck from January through the very last primaries. Obama had an early lead after Super Tuesday, but Clinton came back strong towards the end making it the closest race in the Poll’s 8 year history. Mask sales as of June 5^th have Barack beating Hillary 50.38% to 49.62%.

Costume Shoes can become everyday shoes!

I will start this blog out by saying that I am a shoeaholic. The first step is always admitting you have a problem.

My newest shoe conquest has become bugging the purchasing department to carry some of the New for 2008 shoes in my size (W11). When I saw some of the new shoes and boots, I imediately knew I needed to have them. I admit that I have never bought shoes from BuyCostumes.com before. The main reason is because I need W11s. The secondary reasons is that in the back of my mind I think that I will buy them for Halloween and never wear them again. Our new shoes are definately going to prove me wrong.

1. My favorite

Now these are a little outlandish for everyday style, but I have a knack for flair. I would wear these with a little black dress, under jeans for a little peep of sparkle or with an awesome go-go outfit for Halloween.

2. Mafia Shoes gone black and white cool

Red, Black and White are one of my favorite color combos. These go great with any mafia or flapper costume, but are also great for a night out on the town.

3. There's no place like home. Sparkles are a little flashy and not for the modest, but the little bows give both these pairs of heels the perfect amount of femininity. Find a way to work these red shoes into you everyday wardrobe.
