The "Last Hurrah"

It's June, and what does that mean?! It's wedding season! Over the next month I'm going to three weddings and since I happen to be close friends with all of the brides, that also means I have bachelorette parties to attend. All the "last hurrahs" include a crazy group of girls but the festivities all seem to be different.

For the outdoorsy bride, a camping trip is on the agenda. I'm sure warning and advertising the campground that we have arrived will be smart with banners and balloons.

For the girl that likes to stay in and host small get-togethers, bachelorette themed serving dishes, martini glasses, and games will do the trick. Everyone can make bite-sized appetizers to pass and fun, fruity drinks to enjoy. Maybe have guests invent their own unique cocktails. Check out some great games to celebrate the end of the single life and the beginning of the married life.

And for the wild girl that likes to have a "last night out"? Make sure everyone knows she's about to take the plunge with a tiara and sash!

Whatever the bride may decide to do, make sure that its her night to have a good time! Maybe get creative and have a theme party? A Casino night, Pampering spa, or Karaoke!

Some other useful tips:
  • Pick a date that works for the bride and the bridal party. Should be close enough to the wedding but far enough for recovery.
  • Every bride is different! What you think she wants may be far from it!
  • Don't stress out about it! It's a night to set all other wedding planning aside!
  • Try to keep the budget low. More girls can attend and we all know weddings can get pricey enough!
Any memorable or great bachelorette party ideas?!
