I’m striving to ‘survive’ my 6th Halloween here at BuyCostumes. My job title is Content Specialist for Party Supplies for BuyCostumes and Celebrate Express, though I do a lot more than write copy for the web sites. I’m also a hairdresser and moonlight at BuyCostumes doing make-up and hair/wig styling for photo shoots. I enjoy the kick-back work environment, fun co-workers and really get into all our dress-up days! Costumes are not just for Halloween… we will celebrate just about anything! National “Talk Like A Pirate Day”…turns into let’s all dress up like pirates day! Elvis day, hippie day, Harley day, hat day, and of course celebrating our sports teams, professional, college and even high school. We have themed pot luck lunches and cook outs, and the managers even send out for pizza and bagels at times. I’m the #1 fan for my daughters’ Dance Team (I’m the crazy, screaming spirit mom at all the dance teams’ performances), and a groupie for my 13 year old rock star (wanna be… will be someday).
