First Place Dachshund

We received an email from a very happy customer and wanted to share it with our Blog readers.  Derek, from Milwaukee, WI sent an excited email about his dachshund, Gertrude, or Gertie as he likes to call her.  Gertie was entered in the 2010 Milwaukee Germanfest Costume Competition, and she won first place!   The brown dachshund strutted her stuff while she wore our “Jockey Dog Rider Pet Costume”.  Check out the pictures and feel free to post any of your pet’s photos on a review of the product they’re wearing!  It will not only show off that Fido is the cutest on the block, but will also help other customers when they are making the decision to buy!

Top 7 Costumes to Pimp Your Dog on Halloween

If you have seen The Golden Compass, then you probably thought the coolest thing about all the characters are the beasts that they have. The beasts of the children continuously transform while the beasts of the adults have taken forms that reflect the personality of the adults. In real life, there are no beasts such as these, but people do have pets. And during this Halloween season, the mild-mannered pets can transform into characters that even the fantastical beasts could never dream of. Here are seven of the most popular and most memorable Halloween costumes for your pets.

  • Big Daddy, Big Doggie – It is a Halloween costume for a dog with an attitude. The costume consists of the familiar vest-style jacket that has the impudent leopard-skin accent on the vest.
